Lando Norris of McLaren secured his second victory of the Formula 1 season at the Dutch Grand Prix, held on Sunday at Circuit Zandvoort in the Netherlands. Norris' win came with a commanding lead of almost 23 seconds.

This result prevented Max Verstappen, the Dutch driver, from clinching his fourth consecutive Dutch GP victory. Verstappen finished in second place, with 's Charles Leclerc completing the podium in third.

Starting from pole position, Norris' triumph marked McLaren's first win at Zandvoort since Niki Lauda's victory in 1985. The 22.8-second gap between Norris and Verstappen was the largest margin of victory in the 2024 season.

Verstappen's second-place finish extends his winless streak to five races. The three-time F1 champion, currently leading the drivers' standings, is experiencing his longest winless period since 2020.
