Real Madrid commemorated its 36th Spanish league triumph with a public celebration on Sunday, following their recent qualification for the UEFA Champions League .

Securing the league title four rounds before the season's end, Real Madrid postponed their celebratory events due to ongoing Champions League obligations.

In a thrilling semifinal clash against Bayern Munich, Real Madrid clinched a spot in the final with a 2-1 victory, propelled by late goals from striker Joselu, advancing 3-2 on aggregate. The final showdown against Borussia Dortmund is scheduled for June 1 in London.

Addressing the enthusiastic crowd during the parade, midfielder Toni Kroos expressed confidence in the team's return for further celebrations in the coming weeks.

Thousands of fans lined the streets of the capital to cheer the squad's procession towards Cibeles square, where team captain Nacho Fernández adorned the goddess Cybele statue with Real Madrid regalia before hoisting the league trophy.

Formal ceremonies took place at the club's training center, where Coach Carlo Ancelotti, donned in Real Madrid attire, joined players for photographs amidst the jubilant atmosphere, sporting a cigar and sunglasses.

Traditionally celebrated at the Bernabeu stadium, the event was relocated due to a scheduled concert. However, the team received honors from players, upholding the tradition of applauding the champions as they entered the field during their recent match.

Addressing the crowd, club president Florentino Pérez acknowledged the team's resilience throughout the season, particularly in overcoming significant injuries to key players such as Thibaut , Éder Militão, and David Alaba, all of whom were applauded by the fans.

The celebration concluded with chants of the team's traditional songs, reflecting the enduring support and unity of the Real Madrid community.
